How to Access and Use the Sims 4 First Person Camera on PC

The option to access the sims 4 first person camera mode on your PC doesn’t appear anywhere on the game’s User Interface. But it’s extremely easy to get into the sims 4 first person mode! 

Take a look at how you can enter the first person view, and lots of other sims 4 controls:-

  • Shift+ Tab
  • the sims 4 first person camera mode. Once you’re using that, you can exit the mode by pressing Shift+ Tab again.
  • Right-click

Keep holding the RS button or the right analog stick on your controller till you’re able to access the sims 4 first person camera

How to use the Sims 4 first person camera on console

Here’s everything you need to know about using the sims 4 first person mode while you’re playing on your console.

First of all, zooming the camera in and out using your console is very simple. If you want to zoom the camera in on a scene, just drag the left analog stick up. 

Similarly, you have to drag the left analog stick down if you wish to zoom out. 

If you want to go upstairs or downstairs, simply aim the camera at that particular area. Then, press the B button (if you’re using Xbox One) or the O button (if you’re using PS4). 

Do the exact same thing if you want to gain access to a room with a closed door. 

To go left, right, up, and down, move around the right analog stick on your controller. You can also move your Sim’s head around in the same way. 

To interact with different objects, direct the circle on the centre and select the object that you want to interact with. 

How to Tilt Camera Sims 4

When you’re playing The Sims 4 in build mode while using first person view, you need to change your camera angle. 

For example, if you want to build lights under some counters, you can’t do so unless you tilt the sims 4 first person camera the way you want. 

And if you don’t know how to enter the sims 4 tilt camera mode, you’re bound to get frustrated. Anyone would!

How to avail the sims 4 tilt camera on desktop

You can tilt the camera angle up and down on your desktop by following these steps:-

  1. Click on the Options Menu on the upper-right corner of the screen.
  2. From the menu that appears, click on ‘Game Options’. A dialogue box will appear on the screen.
  3. Select ‘Controls & Camera’ on the left side of the dialogue box.
  4. Under ‘Camera’, check the box beside ‘The Sims 3 Camera’.
  5. Ensure that the ‘Edge Scrolling’ option is also checked.
  6. Click on ‘Apply Changes’ and close the dialogue box and the options menu.
  7. Click the scrolling wheel on your mouse and hold it.
  8. While holding your mouse scrolling wheel, drag your mouse back and forth to tilt the screen.
  9. In case your mouse doesn’t have any middle scrolling wheel or a centre button, hold Ctrl+ any directional key to tilt the camera angle.

How do you tilt the camera in Sims 4 on a laptop?

Tilting the camera on The Sims 4 is easier on a desktop computer than on a laptop. This is because most laptops come only with a trackpad, and not with an extra mouse. 

But these sims 4 controls can change your camera angle up and down on a laptop easily! Just follow these steps:-

  1. Go to the ‘Game Options’ menu and change to The Sims 3 Camera (like you do on desktop).
  2. Tick the ‘Edge Scrolling’ option.
  3. Close the options menu.
  4. Keep pressing Ctrl+ Right-click (you can also hold Ctrl+ up/ down buttons).
  5. Alternatively, hold down Ctrl+ W/A/S/D for adjusting your screen/ camera angle.
  6. While holding these buttons, trace your fingers up and down the trackpad on your laptop.
  7. If you want to tilt the camera on Sims 4 Macbook, hold the Command key along with the up and down arrow keys.
